The project developed by -Director of Academics in Saveetha University,Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy, breaks the monotony of hours of lectures and replaces it with facilitator mediated active learning process.

INTRA CLIENT COUNSELLING COMPETITION 2016.
Chennai: Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha University  organized a two day  ( 25th &26th )’Intra Client Counselling Competition 2016’ at Saveetha School of Law , University campus Poonamallee, Chennai on 25th and26th  2016.
Hon’ble Justice Dr.T N Vallinayagam was the Guest of Honour, and  distribute Prices. Saveetha University Vice Chancellor Dr. R Rajagopal Presided over the function. Saveetha School of Law Director Prof Dr. Anitha Rao welcome the gathering and Assist. Prof. of  law  Vasundara Ravi delivered the vote of thanks.
The Client Counselling Competition promotes greater knowledge and interest among law students in the preventive law and counselling functions of law practice. It also encourages students to develop interviewing, planning, and analytical skills in the lawyer-client relationship in the law office. Interviewing and advising are a significant part of most lawyers’ work. The Competition provides an opportunity for a valuable educational interchange between students, law teachers, and legal practitioners.

Client Counselling Competition:

It gives us immense pleasure to conduct the first Intra – Client Counselling Competition (ICCC)’16 in our college which is among our students where each team shall consist of two student participants and would be allotted a room for the interview and counselling. Here, the two student participants will present themselves as advocates in a lawyer’s chamber. The client will be a person trained by the organizers and the advocates will counsel the clients regarding the given problem. The two participants are required to elicit all relevant information from the client by interviewing or questioning the client and then counsel the client. This competition will be conducted on 25th &26th February, 2016 in Saveetha School The Winners of ICCC’ 16 shall be awarded each with one year subscription of Practical Lawyer (for two students).
