The project developed by -Director of Academics in Saveetha University,Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy, breaks the monotony of hours of lectures and replaces it with facilitator mediated active learning process.

Saveetha School of Engineering (SSE) is conducting Engineering Project Exhibition on April 11th 2015,at Saveetha School of Engineering,Thandalam Campus.
 This exhibition is open to public and entry is free for all. For project viewers, transportation is provided from most locations of Chennai. Students of SSE are exhibiting exciting models on modern technologies covering all engineering fields.
In the Project Expo 2015, the Evolving Engineers are motivated to exhibit their innovative ideas. Previous years innovations have been filed as 80 patents by Saveetha School of Engineering. Some of the highlighted projects are: Solar Cars, Railway Safety, Robotics, New Mobile Apps like ‘Namma Madras’,
 ‘Emotion Sensing Music Player’and many more.
In addition to project exhibition, demonstration of devices like Augmented Reality Based Applications Bluetooth Beacons, Near-Field Communication and 3D Printing & Scanning are to be made.

For the first time in India, SSE has organized a 24 hours non-stop coding Marathon (HACKATHON)on 20th & 21st Feb 2015 at university level. Around 174 students with 39 teams participated in this competition and developed 44 applications within this shorter duration. They developed applications for Android platforms, web applications, anti- virus software, Windows mobile applications.SSE ensures a sustainable future by providing Value Added Programs to students along with their curriculum like CAD/CAM, Embedded Systems, VLSI, CCNA, SAP, Animation Skills, Web Designing &Web Hosting, Oracle, Android Mobile Application and many more.
SSE encourages students to extend their knowledge through conducting Certification Programs. SSE also promotes Research and Development activities like Journal Publications, Sponsorship by University to transfer ideas and knowledge for the wealth of the society. Many good ideas

grow and become innovations through Research Labs, Prometric Test Centres and Centre of Excellence. Students of SSE gain technical information, imaginative thinking and creative engineering technology  through Workshops, Seminars and Guest Lectures which is conducted in the campus on a regular basis.
