The project developed by -Director of Academics in Saveetha University,Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy, breaks the monotony of hours of lectures and replaces it with facilitator mediated active learning process.

Saveetha College of Nursing, organised Inter Collegiate Quiz On Parteria





Chennai:  Saveetha College of Nursing, Saveetha University, Department of OBG Nursing organised Inter Collegiate Quiz On Parteria for the final year UG students at Multi Purpose Hall, Tandalam Campus.
It was organised mainly to mark the Decennial celebration of Saveetha University.The programme started with prayer song. Welcome address was given by Ms.S.KalaBarathi, who also briefed the concept of this Quiz and the schedule of the programme. Principal Dr.Mrs.Mangala Gowri delivered the inaugural address, her motivating and inspirational speech encouraged the students for their active participation. Around 16 colleges with 3 students from each college from North region of TamilNadu took part in this competition. The inaugural  session was followed by Preliminary written examination for 30 minutes. The college who secured first five ranks entered for the final competition.
It was a very active, interesting and amazing questions in all five rounds.
Students enjoyed answering.Students were highly impressed by the quiz and they enjoyed watching different concepts inMidwifery. This Quiz competition not only explores knowledge but helped to build a strong platform to strengthen their talents. The first two
winning teams were given certificate and prizes.
Participants from other colleges appreciated and given the feedback that they had an opportunity to
learn and they had gained knowledge and new concepts from this programme.
It was very well appreciated by all colleges. Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof.S.Kalabarathi.
The programme came to an end with the National anthem.
