The project developed by -Director of Academics in Saveetha University,Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy, breaks the monotony of hours of lectures and replaces it with facilitator mediated active learning process.

South Zone Inter University Cricket Men

Chennai:  SAVEETHA UNIVERSITY is hosting the South Zone Inter University Cricket
Men Tournament.SAVEETHA University Chancellor Dr. N.M veeraiyan
witnessed event with chief guest Arun karthi
IPL player. Hundred teams are participating in the tournament
and  accommodation provided Saveetha University.
Eligibility of each team selected based on norms of South
Zone Inter University Cricket Tournament.

Vignan university (Guntur) won by 32 runs against, Vinayaka mission university.
Vinayaka mission won the toss elected to field and Vignan University scored 134runs
in 20 overs for loss of 10 wickets. Vinayaka mission all out in 102 runs in their allotted over.

Bharathidsam University won by 5 wickets   against Reva University, Bangalore. Reva University
 won the toss elected to bat and scored 99 runs in 20 overs for loss of 8 wickets.
Bharathidsam University scored 100 runs for loss of 5 wickets.

Central university of Kerala won by 20 runs against Rajiv Gandhi National Institute
 of Youth Development.  Central university of Kerala won the toss and elected to bat
and scored 101 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of
Youth Development University scored 81 runs in their allotted over.


JNTU Kakinada University won by 9 wickets against Bharath University.
Bharath University won the toss and elected to bat. Bharath University
scored 90 runs in their allotted over for loss of 10 wickets.
JNTU Kakinada scored 92 runs in 9.2 over’s for loss of 2 wickets.

Periyar University won by 57 runs against University of Agricultural &
Horticultural Sciences, Karnataka. Periyar University won the toss, elected
to bat and scored 149 runs in 20 over’s for the loss of 6 wickets. University
of Agricultural & Horticultural Sciences scored 92 runs in
17.2 over’s for the loss of 10 wickets.

Rayalaseema University won by 29 runs against Sathyabama University.
Rayalaseema University elected to bat scored 117 loss of 10 wickets.
Sathyabama University scored 89 runs in 17.2 over for 10 wickets.


University of Calicut Kerala won by 7 wickets against Manipal University.
Manipal University won toss and   elected to bat. Manipal University scored
58 runs in 16.4 over’s for loss of 10 wickets. University of Calicut
Kerala scored 59 for loss 3 wickets in 10.2 over’s.

Christ University won the match by 8 wickets against cochin university.
The toss won by Cochin University and elected to bat scored 128 runs in 20
over’s for loss of 8 wickets. Christ University
scored 129 runs in 18.3 over’s for loss of 2 wickets.

Kakatiya University won by 5 wickets against Madurai Kamaraja University.
Madurai Kamaraja University won the toss and elected to bat and scored 137 runs
for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 over. Kakatiya University scored 140
runs in 17 over for loss 5 wickets.

Rama Krishna mission Vivekananda University won by 5 wickets against B.S Abdur Rahman University.
B.S Abdur Rahman won toss and   elected to bat, B.S Abdur Rahman University scored 100 runs
in 20 over’s for loss of 9 wickets. Rama Krishna mission Vivekananda University
scored 103 for loss 5 wickets in 16.4 over.

Vikram simhapuri University won by 48 runs against Karnataka University Dharwad .
Karnataka University won toss and   elected to bowl. Vikram simhapuri University
scored 108 runs in 19.2  over  for 10 wickets. In reply
Karnataka University all out 60 runs in 16.1 over.


The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar University won by 7 wickets against MGR University .
The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar University won toss and   elected to bowl. MGR University
scored 124 runs in 20 over  for 8 wickets. In reply The Tamil Nadu
Dr.Ambedkar University chased the required target with 5 balls to spare .

National Law School of India  University (NLSI) won the toss and elected to bat .
NLSI scored 111 runs in 20 overs. In reply Karpagam University chased the target in
15 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. Karpagam University won the match by 7 wickets.

VIT University won the toss and elected to bat. VIT University were bowled out for
48 runs in 15.2 overs. Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports chased the target in
8 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports won by 6 wickets.

VAS Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl. KLEF University set a target of 99 runs.
VAS Bangalore chased the target in 15.5 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
VAS Bangalore won the match by 8 wickets.

Kuvampu University won the toss and elected to bat. Kuvampu University scored
110 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Pondicherry University scored
98 runs for the loss 8 wickets in 20 overs. Kuvampu University won the match by 12 runs.

Adikavi Nannanya University won the toss and elected to bat. Adikavi
Nannanya University were bowled out for 33 runs in 11 overs. PES Bangalore
chased the target in 6.5 overs with the loss of 1 wicket. PES Bangalore won by 9 wickets.

VEL TECH University won the toss and elected to bat. VEL TECH University
scored 109 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Thiruvalluvar University
chased the target in 15.2 overs with the loss of 6 wickets.

Afternoon session:

Achariya Nagarjuna University won the toss and elected to bat. Achariya Nagarjuna
University were bowled out for 79 in 14.4 overs.  Bharathidasan University chased
the target in 13 overs with the loss of 3 wickets.
Bharathidasan University won by 7 wickets.

SVIMS Tirupathi won the toss and elected to field. Amritha Vishwa
Vidya Peetha scored 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
SVIMS scored 88 runs for loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Amritha Vishwa Vidya Peetha won the match by 52 runs

VAS Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl. KLEF University set a target of 99 runs.
VAS Bangalore chased the target in 15.5 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
VAS Bangalore won the match by 8 wickets.

Kuvampu University won the toss and elected to bat. Kuvampu University scored
110 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Pondicherry University scored

Adikavi Nannanya University won the toss and elected to bat. Adikavi Nannanya
University were bowled out for 33 runs in 11 overs. PES Bangalore chased the
target in 6.5 overs with the loss of 1 wicket. PES Bangalore won by 9 wickets.

VEL TECH University won the toss and elected to bat. VEL TECH University
scored 109 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Thiruvalluvar
University chased the target in 15.2 overs with the loss of 6 wickets.

SVIMS Tirupathi won the toss and elected to field. Amritha Vishwa Vidya
Peetha scored 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. SVIMS
scored 88 runs for loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Amritha Vishwa
Vidya Peetha won the match by 52 runs

Sastra Tirupathi University won the toss and elected to bat. Sastra Tirupathi
University scored 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs .
RSV University were bowled out for 54 runs in 14.4 overs .
Sastra Tirupathi University won by 64 runs .

 NIT won the toss and elected to field. Palamuru scored 122 runs
for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. NIT scored 120 runs for
loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Palamuru won the match by 2 runs.


University of Mysore won the toss and elected to bat. University of Mysore scored
 221 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs.  Central University of
 Kerala was bowled out for 21 runs in 12.3 overs. University of Mysore won by 200 runs.

Jain University won the toss and elected to field. Periyar University
 was bowled out for 107 runs in 18.5 overs. Jain University chased the
target in 9.5 overs. Jain University won the match.

 Vignan University won the toss and elected to bowl. MS University set a
target of 49 runs. Vignan University chased the target in 7 overs
with the loss of 2 wickets. Vignan University  won the match by 8 wickets.
Afternoon session

Alagappa University won the toss and elected to bat. Alagappa University
scored 151 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs .Gulbarga University
was bowled out for 93 runs in 19 overs. Alagappa University won by 62 runs.

JNTU Kakinada University won the toss and elected to bat. JNTU Kakinada
University were bowled out for 79 in 16.3 overs.  MG University chased
the target in 19 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. MG University won by 6 wickets.

Hyderabad University won the toss and elected to bat. Hyderabad
University were bowled out for 75 in 20 overs. Rayalseema Kurnal
chased the target in 15.4 overs with the loss of 8 wickets.
Rayalseema Kurnal won by 2 wickets.
