Breaking the monotony of learning process: Saveetha University Director 'invents' MILA Multiple interacting learning algorithm(MILA) attempts to replace the old style of education and create an effective ,enthusiastic and active learning environment for students. The project developed by -Director of Academics in Saveetha University,Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy, breaks the monotony of hours of lectures and replaces it with facilitator mediated active learning process.

Global Mobile App Summit Awards 2015 (GMASA 2015)

Chennai: Two days Global Mobile App Summit Awards 2015 (GMASA 2015) was held
at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. Engineering Students of TN have shown their great knowledge
and ideas on developing the applications.Third Year CSE C section student of Saveetha school of engineering Mr. Sankaran.S has
developed Windows mobile App titled “Find My Car” it uses GPS location services to find the car
in the parking location. It has good download rates (300+) and viewed by more than 24 countries
around the globe.“Student Performer Award “has been awarded to “Find My Car” on
the award ceremony.by Mr. Prem Kumar, Executive Vice Chairman & Managing Director, HCL.
